The Australian Coal Association Research Program (ACARP)
The Australian coal industry is one of the most technologically advanced in the world and ACARP has played an integral role in that achievement. ACARP has been at the forefront of technical excellence and coal industry research since it was established in 1992.

Centre for Low Emissions Technologies (cLET)
A partnership between the Queensland Government, CSIRO, Stanwell Corporation, Tarong Energy, the University of Queensland and ACARP, cLET is focussed on the development of low-emission coal technologies.

Cooperative Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies (CO2CRC)
The Cooperative Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies (CO2CRC) is one of the world's foremost collaborative research organisations focused on carbon capture and storage technology. Its CO2CRC Otway Project is Australia’s first large-scale CO2 geosequestration demonstration.

CSIRO Energy Transformed National Research Flagship
CSIRO established the Energy Transformed National Research Flagship to respond to environmental and efficiency challenges facing the energy sector. Through its research, the Flagships aims to halve Australia’s greenhouse gas emission and double the efficiency of Australia’s new energy generation technologies.
